SKILLS
This is the list of skills of Liang
Passive
Power Word โข Trance
Cooldown: 0s, Cost: 0
When Zhang Liang deals damage to any enemy with two consecutive basic attacks or skills within 1.5 seconds, the time interval between these two damages is considered as “Continuous Attack State.” For each 1.2 seconds accumulated in this state, the enemy will suffer an additional 100 (+50% Magic Power) true damage, increasing by 10 points per level.
Tips: Maintain a consistent attack frequency on any enemy to inflict additional damage. The core purpose is to “keep the enemy occupied.”
Skill 01
Power Word โข Barrier
Cooldown: 11/10.6/10.2/9.8/9.4/9s, Cost: 80
Zhang Liang uses his spellcraft to summon four parallel magical barriers. Enemies who touch these barriers will receive 400/450/500/550/600/650 (+75% Magic Power) magic damage, be stunned for 0.75 seconds, and then be slowed by 50% for 0.5 seconds, while also shattering the barrier. Enemies repeatedly touching the barriers will have their damage reduced by 50% and will no longer be stunned but will be slowed by 50% for 1.25 seconds.
Tips: This skill is a short-cast, long-range hard control used to block enemy movement. It is effective for both crowd control and escaping. With good skill, it can be used both as a follow-up and as a solid initiation.
Skill 02
Power Word – Fate
Cooldown: 2s, Cost: 80
Zhang Liang uses his spellcraft to summon an eroding magic array, dealing 120/144/168/192/216/240 (+17% Magic Power) magic damage every 0.5 seconds to enemies stepping into it. Up to 2 arrays can exist at once (arrays deal an additional 50% damage to minions and monsters). Each array stores up once every 12 seconds (affected by cooldown reduction), up to 3 times, with each array lasting 5.5 seconds. Zhang Liang gains 60 movement speed while inside the arrays. Arrays provide vision.
Tips: The skill itself doesnโt have control effects, has a large range, and is weak in burst but strong in sustained damage. Use it to predict enemy movement and employ other skills to keep enemies within the damage range. The ability to stack spells allows you to place two arrays consecutively, covering a large area and preventing enemies from escaping.
Ultimate
Power Word โข Control
Cooldown: 50/45/40s, Cost: 130
Zhang Liang uses his spellcraft to capture an enemy hero for 2.2 seconds, dealing 120/150/180 (+15% Magic Power) magic damage every 0.5 seconds and continuously suppressing them. After the skill is fully cast, a magical area is generated under the target, dealing 240/300/360 (+30% Magic Power) magic damage and stunning enemies who step into it for 0.75 seconds.
Tips: The damage is not high, but after reducing the enemyโs health, this skillโs prolonged control combined with the damage from the second skill often results in a kill. The likelihood of securing kills greatly increases when used in combination with high-damage teammates.

Liang Best Partners
- Zhang Liang’s initiating ability and long-duration control provide Hou Yi with an environment to stick to enemies and continuously output damage.
- The combination of Zhang Liang and Bai Qi’s ultimate can create a long chain of control, creating opportunities for Zhang Liang’s second skill and teammates to output damage.
Liang Counter
Zhang Liang lacks long-range burst and mobility, at a disadvantage against opponents with high burst damage in both trading and evasion.
Opponents with instant mobility can easily evade Zhang Liang’s magical fields from his first and second skills.
Liang Usage Tips
- Zhang Liang effectively stacks curses to inflict true damage.
- Possesses numerous control skills with strong single-target control capabilities.
- Practice casting the first skill. Direct hits can serve as a strong initiating control skill.
- Enemies hitting the first skill still suffer damage and slowing effects, so laying the skill vertically on the enemy’s path can be effective. Additionally, the first skill can be used to scout bushes.
Tactics
- If enduring continuous output from Zhang Liang, briefly distancing to interrupt his output can deactivate his passive skill.
- Maintain high health before Zhang Liang uses his ultimate.
Team Fight Strategy
Utilize initiating abilities to capitalize on enemy formation mistakes to start fights. Alternatively, play defensively, covering most enemies with two uses of the second skill after a team fight begins, and use the first skill to separate enemy front and back lines, disrupting the enemy backline’s output.
