SKILLS
This is the list of skills of Ukyo Tachibana
Passive
GHOSTLY DASHING SLICE
Ukyo Tachibana’s next basic attack transforms into a Dashing Slice, extending the attack range. It deals 40-80 (+0.35 extra physical attack) physical damage to the target and slows them by 15%-30% for 2 seconds. Enemies hit at the edge of the attack take an additional 80-160 (+0.7 extra AD) physical damage, and Ukyo Tachibana restores 100-200 (+2% extra HP) health. The healing is halved when attacking non-hero units. Dashing Slice can be prepared once every 5-4 seconds (based on hero level), and each skill hit reduces the cooldown of the enhanced basic attack by 0.5 seconds.
Tips: Periodically, Ukyo Tachibana’s basic attack is enhanced, dealing significant physical damage. This increases his dueling capability and slows enemies, making it easier to chase them down.
Skill 01
CONCEALED SABRE SWALLOW SWIPE
Cooldown: 7/6.8/6.6/6.4/6.2/6s, Cost: 0
Ukyo Tachibana jumps backward while slashing enemies along his path, dealing 330/396/462/528/594/660 (+150% extra physical attack) physical damage. The skill can be activated again within 2 seconds. If he successfully hits an enemy unit, he can immediately activate the second use. Upon the second activation, if Ukyo Tachibana returns near the starting point of the first use, the second swipe is enhanced, allowing him to jump backward again and slash a larger area of enemies. For each 2% of the target’s max health lost, the enhanced swipe’s damage increases by 1%. Each enemy unit hit reduces the cooldown of Heavenly Hack by 1 second (halved for non-hero units).
Tips: This skill can be used both offensively and defensively. It allows for mobility, enabling Ukyo Tachibana to escape or chase enemies and deal damage. It is particularly effective for harassing enemies in the lane. Careful consideration of the situation is needed to choose the appropriate direction for the best outcome.
Skill 02
HEAVENLY HACK
Cooldown: 10/9.5/9/8.5/8/7.5s, Cost: 0
Ukyo Tachibana swiftly draws his sword, dealing 300/350/400/450/500/550 (+180% physical attack) physical damage to enemies in a straight line. Enemies at the end of the path are stunned for 0.75 seconds.
Tips: This is Ukyo Tachibana’s longest-range skill, dealing high AOE damage. It serves as his main damage-dealing skill, with a control effect that can stun enemies. Following up with the third skill after using this skill can ensure a stable hit.
Ultimate
CONCEALED SABRE SNOWFALL SLASH
Cooldown: 12/11.5/11s, Cost: 0
Ukyo Tachibana slashes four times consecutively, each hit dealing 130/180/230 (+55% physical attack) physical damage. Each time he hits an enemy hero, he restores 80/160/240 (+54% physical attack) health (halved when hitting non-hero units).
Tips: This skill deals significant physical damage. However, since it is a non-targeted skill, correct direction judgment is necessary. It is more effective when used after controlling the enemy. During duels, this skill can restore health with each hit on an enemy hero.

JING
HOK Ukyo Synergies
Zhao Yun: Both heroes are durable and have high burst damage, mobility, crowd control, and lifesteal. Their short cooldowns make them a powerful duo. Together, they can easily take down opponents.
Yang Jian: Yang Jian can be played as a Jungler or Ukyo can fill that role. This classic top/jungle combo relies on their skill synergy to roam and Gank. High burst damage and crowd control make it hard for many heroes to counter, forcing enemies to sacrifice their economy to build anti-healing items.
HOK Ukyo Counters
Lady Sun: Her agility makes it difficult for Ukyo to land his crowd control, and she can harass him from range.
Frost: Her ultimate forces Ukyo to consider whether he can survive his engagement.
Monkey King: Monkey Kings Skill 01 can easily evade Ukyo Crowd control and Ultimate Skill.
Counter Tactics:
- Dodge Ukyo’s 2nd skill by positioning properly;
- When Ukyo uses his ultimate, be sure to move quickly to avoid taking damage;
- Ganking Ukyo after he has used his 1st skill will have a higher success rate.
HOK Ukyo Team Fight Strategy
During the laning phase, use skills 1 and 2 for harassment. Skill 1 initiates, followed by skill 2 to stun the enemy, and then skill 3 as a combo. Skills 2 and 3 are most effective when used on controlled enemies.
Before a teamfight, Ukyo should carefully position himself on the flanks, waiting for the right moment to engage. Do not enter the fight immediately after it starts; instead, wait for the enemy to use their crowd control abilities. Then, use skill 1 to dive the enemy backline and focus on taking down high-priority targets.
How to Play Ukyo Tachibana
(Gameplay Strategies)
As a pro gamer playing Ukyo, you need to devise a gameplay strategy that capitalizes on his strengths during early, mid, and late game phases. Here’s a suggested approach:
Early Game:
- Focus on farming minions and gaining experience to level up your skills. Prioritize leveling up your 1st and 2nd skills for better harassment and damage output.
- Harass your lane opponent using your 1st and 2nd skills. Engage with your 1st skill, then use your 2nd skill to stun them, followed by a quick auto-attack. Keep a safe distance and avoid overextending.
- Coordinate with your jungler for ganks, using your crowd control abilities to secure kills or force enemies to retreat.
- river and jungle entrances maintain vision and prevent enemy ganks.
Mid Game:
- Start roaming and assisting your teammates in skirmishes. Look for opportunities to gank enemies, focusing on high-priority targets like squishy carries or out-of-position opponents.
- Participate in securing objectives like Dragon, or towers. Use your mobility and crowd control to contest objectives or zone out enemies.
- Establish vision control by placing wards in key areas and clearing enemy wards to create pick-off opportunities.
- Continuously farm jungle camps and minion waves to maintain your gold and experience advantage.
Late Game:
- Stick with your team and focus on controlling objectives, including Tempest Dragon. Remember to maintain vision control to spot enemy movements and avoid ambushes.
- In teamfights, patiently wait for enemies to use their crowd control abilities before engaging. Position yourself to flank or dive the enemy backline and eliminate high-priority targets.
- Utilize your crowd control and damage output to peel for your carries when necessary. Keep an eye on your team’s positioning and adjust your role accordingly.
- After winning a teamfight, secure objectives like inhibitors, towers, or the enemy Tower to close out the game.
By following this strategy and adapting to the game’s flow, you can maximize Ukyo Tachibana’s potential and secure victories for your team.
