KUI Best Synergy Heroes
Jungle Fighters (Liu Bei, Mulan): Zhong Kui relies on his second skill’s hook. If it hits an enemy, it can instantly combo with high burst heroes like Liu Bei and Mulan for a quick kill. It’s almost a damage-free grab, unparalleled by any other grab combo.
Midlane Mages (Zhao Yun, Daji): Zhao Yun’s second skill has a low hit rate and needs teammate support, while Daji’s damage output is risky. Zhong Kui can combine his skills with theirs to create a crowd control combo, controlling enemies to death. The enemy will have little counterplay, bringing significant benefits to team fights.
KUI Cunters
Hide behind minions or tanks to avoid being hooked by Zhong Kui; . If you are unfortunately hooked, use any available mobility skills to escape immediately; Be cautious of low-health Zhong Kui, as he may charge in as a human bomb.
Countered By Assassins (Han Xin, Monkey King, Mulan): Burst damage from assassins can easily kill an isolated Zhong Kui. Mulan’s extremely high burst damage can quickly kill a poorly positioned Zhong Kui.
KUI Team Fight Tactics
Zhong Kui should use his second skill to hook enemies and create outnumbered situations. Be proactive inroaming, looking for opportunities to hide in bushes or use the hook later in team fights to increase the hit rate.
Before engaging, try to hook an enemy with Zhong Kui’s second skill. If successful, you can coordinate with your teammates to quickly kill the target, creating a numerical advantage in the fight. During skill cooldowns, don’t hesitate to use your health and fearlessly charge into dense enemy groups to maximize your passive damage output.

Mid Game:
- Continue to farm and work on your core items to boost your magic damage and survivability.
- Participate in team fights by utilizing your crowd control abilities. Hook priority targets with Join Me and use into the void and mortals to deal area-of-effect damage and slow enemies.
- Capitalize on successful team fights by taking objectives like towers, dragons.
Late Game:
- Stick with your team and prioritize vision control around key objectives like Tempest Dragon.
- In team fights, use Into the Void to maximize your crowd control and damage output. Aim to catch as many enemies as possible while also benefiting from the shield bonus.
- Don’t be afraid to use your passive ability by charging into densely packed enemy groups. The area-of-effect damage can turn the tide of a fight in your favor.
- After winning a team fight, focus on securing major objectives and pushing for the enemy’s base to close out the game.
Remember to adapt your gameplay strategy based on your team’s composition and the state of the game. Good communication with your assassin teammates is key to executing successful ganks and team fights.
