SHANGGUAN
Mage
Mid Lane
Shangguan is a versatile mage in “Honor of Kings,” known for her strong area damage, and teleport abilities. She excels at zoning enemies and dealing sustained magic damage in teamfights. A suitable build for her focuses on enhancing magic power, cooldown reduction, and mana regeneration, allowing her to unleash powerful spells consistently and maintain her effectiveness in battles.
SKILLS
This is the list of skills of Shangguan
Passive
Piercing Brush
Every third basic attack is enhanced, dealing an additional 300 (+40% Magic Attack) magic damage to enemies in a line. When Shangguan’s skills intersect, they trigger Ink Power, dealing 300 (+40% Magic Attack) magic damage to nearby enemies (damage decreases by 50% if multiple hits occur within 1 second). Touching Ink Power restores 100 (+22% Magic Attack) health and activates an enhanced basic attack.
Tips: Continuously triggering Ink Power with overlapping skills to activate enhanced basic attacks can significantly increase Shangguan’s damage output.
Skill 01
Ink Burst
Cooldown: 5s, Cost: 50
Shangguan swings her brush in the designated direction, dealing 200/240/280/320/360/400 (+40% Magic Attack) magic damage to enemies it hits. When the ink reaches the maximum distance, it explodes, dealing an additional 200 (+40% Magic Attack) magic damage.
Tips: Combining Skill 1 and Skill 2 can help Shangguan deal considerable long-range poke damage.
Skill 02
Seething Script
Cooldown: 1.5s, Cost: 60
Shangguan selects a point and writes, with the chosen point as the endpoint. Upon landing the brush, it deals 150/180/210/240/270/300 (+20% Magic Attack) magic damage to enemies. During the writing process, it deals 300/360/420/480/540/600 (+40% Magic Attack) magic damage to enemies it touches and slows them by 50% for 2 seconds.
The skill stores a charge every 12/11/10/9/8/7 seconds, up to a maximum of 2 charges. The skill’s cooldown is affected by cooldown reduction.
Tips: This skill is slower to cast, so it’s often used in combination with Skill 1 or the ultimate to trigger Ink Power or activate a dash.
Ultimate
Finishing Stroke
Cooldown: 40/35/30s, Cost: 100
Shangguan dashes in a straight path, dealing 300/385/470 (+24% Magic Attack) magic damage to enemies in her path. If she hits an enemy or intersects with the ink from another active skill during the dash, she can dash again within 3 seconds using a movement command. If she completes 3โ5 dashes, she leaps into the air (becoming untargetable and removing all control effects) and continuously attacks nearby enemies, dealing 600/800/1000 (+45% Magic Attack) magic damage (completing 3 dashes results in 4 attacks, 4 dashes in 7 attacks, and 5 dashes in 10 attacks; damage to the same unit decays to 25%).
Shangguan can dash up to 5 times. During pauses between dashes, she can attack and cast spells. If interrupted, she recovers 20% to 80% of the cooldown depending on the number of dashes completed.
Tips: Fragile Shangguan should avoid accumulating dashes near enemies. It’s best to start from a relatively safe position using Skill 1 and Skill 2. By the time she approaches the enemy, Shangguan should be fully prepared.
